Where Handcrafted Meets Heartfelt – Sip, Stay, and Feel at Home… that’s the tag line on the website for Michael Lynn, and it couldn’t be more perfect! Nestled in the countryside in Lexington, Ohio is a charming farmhouse that has been transformed into a tasting room and more for the winery & brewery owned by Chad and Stacey Marsh. I had the pleasure of delivering their starter kit a few months ago with a couple of my friends while I was down in Mansfield for another event.

From the moment you pull into the driveway, you will be swept in by the charm of the property. (This was still true even though we arrived during freezing rain!) When you enter, you will find yourself in a cozy sitting room, complete with a fire place and comfortable furniture. You will see the word “cozy” used several times in this post, and for good reason – it truly is! Chad and Stacey have gone above and beyond to make you feel as though you are hanging out at home.

Walking around the corner, if you go to the left, you will find their tasting/tap room. There are large windows with views of the property opposite of the bar that hosts many stools waiting for happy patrons. The warm decor and wood accents echo those of the larger sitting room.

The bar area was quite full when we arrived (these photos were taken later on when we got to hang one on one with Chad and Stacey), so we grabbed our beverages and tags after I set up the rack and headed into the larger sitting room. I had an ale that I can’t remember the name of (oops), tried the Buffalo brown ale, and also the sangria. Each one was fantastic, along with the charcuterie board that we devoured! Julie stuck with wine options, and she enjoyed all of her tastings as well.

In addition to the charming tasting and sitting rooms, they have a beautiful porch and outdoor area that I am sure will be wonderful to enjoy during warmer weather.
