So yesterday, I did a thing…

I graduated with my Master of Arts in Teaching, Early Childhood Education degree. It was a lot of hard work while working an additional full time job (until last summer), running TagaBrew, and managing a household/mom stuffs/kid sports, etc. After having a late lunch with our parents (and a nice, long overdue nap), Russ and I decided to go out and celebrate. Where did we go… why to TagaBrew breweries of course!!!
Our first stop was Erratic Ale Co. in Dexter, Michigan. We met up with a few friends and enjoyed a couple of flights. I especially enjoyed Hints & Allegations (amber ale) and Meet C.Y.A choose your adventure sour ale – where you get to pick the flavor of the sour ale from a list of multiple options! (For those who care, I chose tangerine and it was awesome!) Russ also enjoyed the amber ale, and I don’t remember what else he ordered because I was too busy stuffing my face with the artisan cheese tray offerings. It was great to chat with Deb & Brian the owners again and to see how it has progressed since opening nearly three years ago. As of last fall they also added a coffee bar!

After we left Erratic Ale Co., we decided to head a little closer to home, and so we hit up another one of our usual local haunts – North Center Brewing Co. in Northville, Michigan. The crowd was unusually light for a Saturday evening, but that was fine with us. We got to chat with the beertender and enjoy some great loaded tots and brews. We also engaged in a few games of shuffle board where I again demonstrated to all who could see how incredibly unskilled I am at it. It’s truly comical how horrible I am at it, but I still enjoy myself anyway because life is too damn short not to. Great craft beer also helps… French Toast Malone all the way for me. I enjoy many of the beers there, but I always go back for the FTM! If you’re ever in the area, give us a shout. We will gladly come enjoy a beer and regale you with comical shuffleboard moves that only get better (i.e worse) as the beer flows.
Before I forget, North Center is a TagaBrew recycle spot for chains. I’ve already picked up a full jar from there! Yay! Thanks to Kevin for letting us put out a jar – you’re a pretty nifty guy.
Cheers!

Love the blog page ❤️. You have to be so proud of you ❤️. Hard working smart and so much more. Thank you to you and Russ for bringing TagaBrew to the next level! TagaBrew is so much more than a copper memory tag. You are proof of that. Love you and keep loving life like you do
